Lead Door
Lead doors (lead-shielded high-radiation safety doors) are available in standard and custom sizes. We use German and Italian motor systems for our fully domestic production of automatic lead doors.
Lead doors are manufactured by laminating lead sheets onto an internal metal construction and combining them with surface and coating materials of desired specifications. Lead glass (radiation-resistant observation frame) can be mounted on our lead doors in the desired dimensions according to your project.
All the products and lead doors used in lead door production comply with Turkish and European standards.

Lead is a naturally occurring element that is easier to process than other metals. It is also known for its radiation-blocking properties. For this reason, it is commonly preferred by companies operating in the medical field in our country. Lead stands out with its superior protection properties in various areas where radiation is used.
Common usage areas include various laboratories, research centers, and healthcare facilities. In healthcare, it is typically found in areas where radiological imaging techniques are applied, as well as in radiotherapy rooms. Lead can also be mixed with various raw materials for use. In addition to lead glass applications, lead door applications also showcase the radiation-blocking capabilities of lead.
Lead Door and Its Features
If radiation present in an environment is not properly contained, it can easily leak out and harm individuals. To prevent such scenarios, products like lead doors are commonly used to block radiation leaks. Factors like the amount of lead used, door thickness, and radiation level affect the quality of radiation insulation. Lead manufacturers produce lead doors, especially for the healthcare sector, at maximum capacity.
The radiation protection features of lead doors are typically related to whether the radiation equipment operates in low or high power mode. For these reasons, lead doors of varying thicknesses are produced. Before manufacturing these products, the radiation characteristics of the intended use area are identified to ensure the required protection. Today, lead doors are produced in various sizes.
