Lead-Lined Gypsum Board

Lead-lined drywall is typically preferred for blocking X-ray radiation and sound insulation. Lead-lined drywall is especially used in wall shielding in radiology. It can also be used in suspended ceiling applications in rooms. This product can often be found in the separation areas or entirety of partition walls. It is also suitable for use in music rooms due to its high sound insulation capabilities.

 

Lead-lined drywall does not require lead sheet coating. It is easy to apply and also very easy to clean. It is an important product that is preferred for smooth surfaces. It can be manufactured in various thicknesses. Typically, it is produced in a thickness of 12.5 mm and dimensions of 625 mm * 2500 mm. Besides these dimensions, it can also be manufactured in sizes that meet customer expectations.

Lead-lined drywall is mounted by overlapping. When applying gypsum on the drywall surface, mixing leak-proof joint powder with gypsum for plastering would be a more accurate application.
